Research activities for Toru Miyao
My research interests are quite broad and wide ranging. My overall goal is to try to improve our understanding of Jomon society through the study of their pottery and stone tools. My studies cover from the Incipient Jomon to the Final Jomon. I am also interested in studying Jomon period stone circles in Japan.
